1991: MedNet Liban is launched in Beirut as the first third party administrator in the region.

1995: MedNet Liban introduces the star program known as the Perpetual Plan, which offers Guaranteed Renewability (GR) and no financial limits.

1999: GlobeMed’s solution goes online.

2000: GlobeMed Lebanon partners with SOGIQUE to offer Info-Santé, the 24 hours call center providing healthcare related information, medical triage and patient education and awareness.

2001: GlobeMed Ltd. is created as the franchisor of the acquired Lebanese know-how & solutions. NetPharma becomes the first franchisee of PharmaSystems® for the development of e-procurement applications.

2002:

   -  The GlobeMed Coding School is launched in Lebanon.

   - GlobeMed signs a licensing agreement with SOGEM (Société de Gestion Maladie) in the Ivory Coast to use the GlobeMed solution.

2004: GlobeMed Saudi is incorporated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2006: GlobeMed opens a branch in Kuwait.

2007: GlobeMed Qatar is incorporated and obtains its TPA license from the Qatar Financial Center.

2008: GlobeMed expands to the UAE through its franchisee GlobeMed Gulf.

2010: Total portfolio of all GlobeMed franchisees reaches 2,000,000 insured members.

2011: The Kuwait Branch becomes a franchisee under the name of GlobeMed Kuwait.

2012:

   - GlobeMed’s Board of Directors approves the startup of an operation in Nigeria.

   - GlobeMed signs a strategic partnership with ARIA Assistance.

   - GlobeMed’s PBM gets the provisional accreditation from URAC in Abu Dhabi.

   - MedNet Liban changes its name to GlobeMed Lebanon.

   - GlobeMed launches the unique Automated Cross Border services.

2013:

   - GlobeMed expands to southern Africa and reached Nigeria.

   - GlobeMed Qatar announced as a service provider in the new National Health Insurance Scheme, and accordingly serving all of the Qatari population.

2014:

   - GlobeMed Gulf Healthcare Solutions LLC received its Federal Insurance Authority License and now enjoys Unconditional Health Insurance Permit status with the Dubai Health Authority.

   - GlobeMed Jordan wins the Jordanian Teachers Associations, the largest in the country.

   - PUMA (Production Underwriting Monitoring Analysis) launched empowering clients with a data-driven underwriting solution.

   - Land acquisition for the construction of new headquarters for GlobeMed Group’s executive offices in partnership with Pharaon Holding and Liban -Suisse.

   - GlobeMed wins the “Medical Administrator” award during the world Health Tourism Congress in Dubai.

2015:

   - GlobeMed’s Cross Border network expands to India to include more than 10,000  healthcare providers.

   - GlobeMed extends its reach to Cyprus and cooperates with major health providers in Larnaca and Agia Napa.

   - GlobeMed wins the “TPA of the Year” award in the Middle East Insurance Industry (MIIA) awards in Dubai.

2016:

   - GlobeMed expands its franchisees to Iraq and launches GlobeMed Iraq.

   - GlobeMed celebrates its silver jubilee, 25 years of commitment to taking care of healthcare.

2017:

GlobeMed wins "Third Party Administrator" at the Mena IR Insurance Awards.

2018:

GlobeMed Wins the “Claims Management Services Provider” at the 2018 MENA IR Insurance Awards.
