Follow up on the implementation of the provisions of the rules/law and regulations.
Apply data protection policies.
Update or amend existing data protection policies, procedures, guidelines.
Apply necessary measures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Monitor data protection procedures in place.
Receive requests related to personal data in accordance with the rules/law and regulations.
Act as the point of contact with related authorities.
Supervise the impact evaluation procedures, review and audit reports related to personal data protection controls, document the evaluation results, and issue the necessary recommendations.
Enable the personal data subject to exercise his/her rights stipulated in the system.
Notify the competent authority regarding incidents of personal data leakage.
Respond to requests submitted by the owner of personal data and responding to the competent authority regarding complaints submitted in accordance with the provisions of the rules/law and regulations.
Follow up on recording and updating records of personal data processing activities at the controller.
Qualifications
B.S. in relevant field.
Information Technology background is a plus.
Previous experience in data protection position.
Understanding of PDPL, GDPR, and familiar with regulations issued by the NDMO.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
Excellent communications skills.
Meticulous detail oriented.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment under rapid business and digital transition.
